Accessibility Statement
Last updated: 29 June 2026
Nuvisco is committed to making our website accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities. We believe that the web should be inclusive by default, and we continuously work to improve the accessibility of our digital experiences.
1. Our commitment
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at the AA conformance level. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with a wide range of disabilities, including visual, motor, cognitive, and auditory impairments.
2. What we have done
As part of our commitment to accessibility, we have implemented the following measures on our website:
- Semantic HTML — our pages use proper heading structures, landmarks, and ARIA roles where appropriate.
- Keyboard navigation — all interactive elements are reachable and operable via keyboard.
- Reduced motion support — users who have enabled "reduce motion" in their operating system will see animations disabled or simplified.
- Colour contrast — we have designed our colour palette to meet WCAG AA contrast ratios for text and interactive elements.
- Responsive design — our layout adapts to all screen sizes, from mobile phones to large desktop displays.
- Form labels — all form fields have associated labels for screen reader users.
- Content Security Policy — we have implemented a CSP to protect users from cross-site scripting and other security risks.
3. Known limitations
We are aware of the following accessibility limitations and are actively working to address them:
- Custom cursor — our website replaces the native cursor with a custom cursor on devices with a fine pointer (mouse/trackpad). On touch devices and devices with a coarse pointer, the native cursor is preserved. We are exploring ways to make the custom cursor optional.
- 3D content — our interactive 3D models (Craft Lab, Showcase) rely on WebGL and may not be fully accessible to screen reader users. We provide text descriptions for each model and ensure that all essential information is available in plain text.
- Preloader — the loading animation may be distracting for some users. Users with "reduce motion" enabled will have the preloader bypassed.
- Focus indicators — we are reviewing our focus styles to ensure they are clearly visible on all interactive elements for keyboard-only users.
4. Technologies used
Our website is built with standard HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, and uses the following third-party libraries for visual effects:
- Three.js (3D rendering)
- GSAP with ScrollTrigger (animations)
- AOS (animate on scroll)
- Google Fonts (typography)
We evaluate these libraries for accessibility compatibility and provide fallbacks where they may introduce barriers.
